Sri Lanka unveils 25-man team for Azkals match

MANILA, Philippines – The Football Federation of Sri Lanka (FFSL) has unveiled its twenty-five man team that will go against the Azkals for the FIFA World Cup qualifier.
According to the Sri Lanka Daily Mirror, defender Rohana Ruwanthilake will once again lead the Sri Lanka national team.
Ruwanthilake has been the team captain for Sri Lanka for the past four international tournaments.
The other Sri Lankan players are:

6. Shafraz Kaiz
7. Thilanka Nandasiri
8. Sanka Dhanushka

Sri Lanka is ranked number 169 in the world by FIFA, and their coach admits that they are late in their preparation for the qualifier.
"We commenced training late due to a delayed selection process," said Coach Jang Jung. He added that the the team is in "a positive frame of mind," and that the players are ready for the challenge.
Jung also sees the Azkals as tough opponents. The Azkals are ranked 155 in the world.
"They have grown very fast... they have prepared very well for this tournament,"” the coach said.
The Azkals revealed their 23-man line up last June 8 and are currently in Germany as part of their training for the qualifier.
The first leg of the qualifier will be in Sri Lanka on June 29, while the second leg will be in Manila on July 3.  Source
