Azkals test skills vs German teams
MANILA, Philippines – The Philippine Azkals are now in training camp in Germany preparing for their FIFA World Cup qualifier versus Sri Lanka.
The Azkals are spending 2 weeks of intensive training in Duren, a small city near the Dutch border.
They will be testing their skills against Aachen-Duren on Wednesday.
This will be followed up by another tune-up game against Bonner Selection on Friday.
Several foreign-based Azkals, like Filipino-Germans Stephan Schrock and Manuel Ott, Filipino-Spanish Angel Guirado Aldeguer and Filipino-Icelandic Ray Yonson, have already joined the team. Source
