Manila, Philippines - Concurrent with the excitement generated by the sport in the country, Victory Liner delivered football mania in Baguio by sponsoring the recently concluded Victory Cup 2011.
Thirty-one teams from different schools/clubs in Luzon duked it out for the coveted Victory Cup award, a yearly competition organized by one of the country’s largest and most trusted bus liners, Victory Liner Inc.
Victory Cup 2011 marks the eight consecutive year Victory Liner has sponsored the football match.
For two days, football fanatics trooped to the grounds of Brent International School to cheer on their favorite teams. Nomads Sports Club went on to win the top prize in four categories – 10 under, 12 under, 14 under and the Open Ladies Division. Other winners include Tarlac Football School – 8 under division and Brent Baguio – 18 under division.
Football fever has risen this year and with the appetite continuing to surge, we can all expect Victory Liner to continue fuelling the passion and excitement for the game. After all, when there’s fun and joyride, there’s Victory Liner.
