Kia Motors scores as the Azkals' official transport provider

The Philippine Azkals can now travel in style after they kicked off the most exciting partnership in motoring and sporting media history. The Columbian Autocar Corporation (CAC), the exclusive distributor of Kia vehicles in the Philippines, is now the Azkals' official transport provider.
“We are thankful for the show of confidence from Kia, as well as from the rest of our countrymen, and now the players, team management and coaching staff are that much more motivated to train hard and give our best,” said team manager Dan Palami, the man responsible for turning the Philippine team into a winning organization.
The Azkals' partnership enhances the brand’s image. “Love for football and support of the Azkals is shared by both the young and young-at-heart, we are proud to support truly inspiring athletes, who have the potential to be a world-class team, the Azkals personify Kia’s youthful and energetic image,” explained Mr. Palermo Soriano, Jr., head of Kia’s Marketing Services.
For the young and young at heart
The Azkals have inspired the imagination of the Filipino people. It also draws looks of admiration from the ladies whether they’re on the pitch or out on the town. From now on, they will be seen riding only cars sporting the trademark tiger-nose grille. Updates will be made as to which specific vehicles the Azkals will choose to drive in via Kia's official Facebook page and Twitter account.

“We’ve fallen in love with the beautiful game,” says Ginia Domingo, the President of CAC. “We want to show our support to these talented young men who bring honor to the country by playing as a team and playing their best every match.” She stated that Kia is committed to help the Azkals achieve their goals, adding that “beyond winning matches, they inspire young Filipinos to pursue excellence in sports, and football is a game wherein we have the potential to succeed.”
Much ground has been covered to turn the Philippines’ football team into winners, but there’s still much to be done before our country can secure a spot in the 2014 FIFA World Cup. Fortunately, they won’t have to pursue this dream alone by keeping with the Filipino’s sense of camaraderie. CAC is committed to support them every step of the way.
