International football in Mindanao plausible

Manila, JULY 8 (Sugod.com) – In a report by sports commentator Ronnie Nathanielsz, he mentioned that Mindanao achieved a staggering double digit TV ratings during the Sri Lanka vs. Philippines 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifying match at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.
An impressive feat of 11.25 percent audience share for the land of promise can be a great criterion for any future decision with regards to holding international football events in the island of Mindanao.
For those who witnessed, Visayas and Luzon have successfully hosted a number of international football events while Mindanao still has yet t0 tasted the flavor of some quality international football matches.
Davao, Cagayan de Oro and Lanao del Sur are good locations for any future Azkals international friendly matches. However, federation officials have to face huge problems like pitch, stadium capacity, and security.

Despite these difficulties, hosting international football events in Mindanao seems plausible and could spur the development of football all over the country. Source
