Phil Younghusband performed impressively during San Beda FC’s 16-nil victory over ABC Stars in the ongoing Luzon Regionals of the PFF Smart Club Championships. In that single match, he scored an brilliant tally of 7 goals which is almost 50% of total score.
It seemed that the young footballer has came back to his old form following a lengthy injury.
The filipino international played his first competitive match, since the injury, against UP’s football team where he scored the 3 goals for their 8-1 win against the UAAP champions.
It is all good news for the national team prior to their world cup qualifiers match against Sri Lanka on June 29 and July 3.
